According to a UNI Global Union study, over 57% of Amazon workers globally reported negative impacts on their mental health from performance monitoring systems, and 51% reported negative impacts on their overall health, with many describing the system as excessive and linked to stress and pressure.
One U.S. warehouse worker in the study said: “As a rebinner in Outbound Sort Flow, my quota was nearly physically impossible to reach. Rebinning requires fast walking through the entire shift to meet the minimum quota, I developed tendonitis due to suddenly being put on rebin/suddenly fast walking each shift for the entire period. This tendonitis caused me to be unable to show up, which resulted in me being fired for Job Abandonment.”

No. Prime Members for a Fair Amazon is for customers who use Amazon and appreciate the workers who make it possible.
We believe Amazon can be fast, reliable and successful while also treating workers with fairness, safety and dignity. Supporting Amazon workers is not anti-Amazon. It is part of asking Amazon to live up to its best version.
Is this for prime members globally?
Yes. Prime members and Amazon customers worldwide can join. Some facts and policy demands may vary by country, but the core message is the same everywhere: workers deserve fairness, safety and dignity. For the time being, merchandise is only available in the United States. Other languages will be available on the site later in the year.
Do I have to cancel Prime to participate?
No. This campaign is specifically for Prime members and Amazon customers who want to use their voice constructively. You do not have to cancel your membership to ask Amazon to do better for workers.
